Velhans Private Limited (“Velhans”, “we”, “us”) operates this website and the related member, vendor and administration services. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how Google user data is handled when an administrator connects Google Drive. By using the website, you agree to this policy.
We collect information you give us and information created when you use the site. This includes your name, mobile number, email address, postal address, login details, order and payment records, wallet activity, and messages you send through contact or support forms. Where a feature requires identity or payment verification, we may also collect documents you upload, such as KYC papers or payment receipts. We also store technical information needed to run the site, such as session data and the pages you request.
We use this information to create and manage accounts, process orders and deliveries, operate wallets and member services, verify documents, respond to support requests, keep the website secure, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Velhans uses Google Drive only as file storage for this application. An authorised administrator connects one Google account from the admin area. The application requests the Google Drive scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file. That scope lets the application create, read, update and delete only the files it itself creates in Google Drive. It does not give Velhans access to the rest of that Google account’s Drive files, Gmail, contacts or other Google services.
Files stored this way are files uploaded through Velhans, such as product and category images, website logos, and private documents including KYC papers, payment receipts and support attachments. Product images may be shown on the public website. Private documents are shown only to signed-in users who are allowed to see them.
The Google refresh token that keeps this connection active is stored in encrypted form on our server and is used only to access those application files. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, share it with data brokers, or use it to train generalised artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. Velhans’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We share information only with service providers who help us operate the website and store files, such as our hosting provider and Google, and only for the purposes described in this policy. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and security of Velhans, our users and the public. We do not allow those providers to use the information for their own marketing.
The website uses cookies and server sessions to keep you signed in, remember your cart, and protect the site. These are not used to build advertising profiles. You can block cookies in your browser, but sign-in and checkout may then stop working.
Account and order records are stored on our application database. Uploaded images and documents are stored in the connected Google Drive account described above. We use access controls and encryption for the Google connection. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We keep account, order and verification records for as long as your account is active and for the period needed for legal, tax and accounting duties. Application files in Google Drive are kept while they are used on the website. When a logo or other file is replaced, the previous file may be deleted from Drive. An administrator can disconnect Google Drive, which stops further use of that connection.
You may ask us to correct account information, or to close an account, by contacting us. We may retain records we are legally required to keep. The Google account owner can revoke Velhans’ access at any time from their Google Account permissions.
